Come Join us for our 2nd Annual Talia Joy's Pet Walk for Children and Furry Friends!  Everyone is welcome, furry friend or not!  Benefitting The Pet Therapy Program, because pets get cancer too, and supporting Arnie's March Against Children's Cancer.  We will have booths filled with fun stuff for everyone, including our four-legged babies. Talia had the privilege of meeting Ellen and being on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in September 2012.  Here she was bestowed the honor of becoming an honorary COVERGIRL.   When Talia was asked by Ellen how she stayed so positive while she was fighting two forms of cancer she responded by saying “a little fishy told me to just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” Talia inspired millions with her positive attitude and she continues to help others. On February 14, 2007, at the age of seven, Talia Joy Castellano was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. After three relapses and a diagnosis of the secondary cancer, MDS/preleukemia, Talia continued to fight two forms of cancer.  After six and a half years, on July 16, 2013 at 11:22am, Talia Joy Castellano lost her battle to childhood cancer. Talia’s wishes were to pass away at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with her favorite nurses and doctors. Talia’s wish was to find a cure for childhood cancer. Talia knew all too well how much love and companionship pets give to a person during times of crisis. Talia was diagnosed with cancer at the age of seven.
